Stöv, an electro/pop/rock band from Bergen, Norway is releasing its début music video. http://www.stovmusic.com
The video
The video is the first official music video of Stöv’s songs, and was created as an experiment in low budget photography.
It was filmed entirely as stop motion on a Nikon D80 SLR, with all its obvious limitations. The video was shot in the basement of the Bergen academy of the arts, over the course of two days.
All footage is made by the band, except the shots where all members are in the frame. That’s where Co-Photographer Joakim Carlsen comes into play. Executive producer was Jørgen Håland.

Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet’s – Night under the Stars (Shreveport, Louisiana)

The Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet was founded in 1973 to promote and preserve the art of classical ballet in our community. As one of the oldest arts organizations in Shreveport-Bossier, the Ballet has strived to present full-length classical ballet performances at affordable ticket prices, while providing a venue for local dancers to perform and train with professional choreographers and dancers.
Shreveport Metropolitan Ballet’s – Night Under the Stars presented young local dancers performing modern, jazz, hip hop & classical ballet. Young children had the opportunity to come on stage during intermission to participate in a ballet class.
Ive never really been into ballet but these young people really did a good job. I dont know much about the technical aspects ballet but it was obvious to me that these young people incorporated skillful choreography with their God given talent. I was very entertained by the whole production
